Project Brief:
interLED, having vast experience in providing lighting to the very demanding automotive industry, were asked to provide high levels of light to the prestigious Lunaz workshop.
The brand new building had no heating and as the company were pushing for sales in carbon neutral commercial vehicles as well as high end classic vehicles they looked for an eco-friendly electric alternative.
In we stepped with our solution.
Project Solution:
trayLED 24K Lumen units and a mixture of various heaTRAY products were installed above the work benches, the staff break out area, electronic assembly and the parts department personnel desks. The Canteen is operated via an on/off Timed switch which has an LED indicator and provides reassurance that the heaters can never be left on. The same goes for the Parts Area desk heaters.
The workshop is operated via the PLC Controller which gives the manager the ability to disable individual heaters and to increase or decrease the temperature levels of the workshop. The system monitors the ambient and radiant temperature and has time functions again controlled via the desktop application.

Our honest opinion on the interRAY heaters is that they heat the space up far better than the gas warm air heaters - our technicians are much happier with this heating option and the room will stay warmer even with the roller doors in pretty constant use. They are also more environmentally friendly and the cost was a fraction of the gas equivalent works we will have needed. They are smart looking and effective heaters.
