Project Brief:
interLED Lighting were approached by Panorama to provide a solution that would satisfy the need for high levels of lighting in the electronic assembly department of their production facility.
On discussion it was discovered that the Gas Space heaters were becoming difficult to repair and expensive to run, they were also not conducive to an area that wanted to limit dust contamination.
We suggested our combined heating and lighting system and produced some designs.
Project Solution:
TrayLED 31k Lumen LED units and heaTRAY 3.9kw units were mounted at 4.5M above the workspace reducing the containment and installation costs. 1000lx was achieved negating the need for additional desk mounted task lighting and the heaters provide a pleasant dust free workplace economically heating the workers below them not the vast empty space above.
The warehouse was also completed with a mixture of units including the much smaller heaTRAY 1.3kw Unit.
All the heating is operated via the Dynamic Drive Controller and our PLC unit allowing for desktop control of individual heaters, full remote programming and monitoring for malfunction and energy usage.

Our honest opinion on the interRAY heaters is that they heat the space up far better than the gas warm air heaters - our technicians are much happier with this heating option and the room will stay warmer even with the roller doors in pretty constant use. They are also more environmentally friendly and the cost was a fraction of the gas equivalent works we will have needed. They are smart looking and effective heaters.
